CMS ranked amongst top employers in Poland

2 June 2020

CMS is pleased to announce that the firm has been named one of Poland’s top undergraduate employers and one of the country’s most recognised firms, according to the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) – the world’s largest law student network.

CMS took second place in the “most desirable law firm employer” rankings and was also named amongst the top three most recognisable law firms in the Polish market. Both rankings are part of the “Students of Law in Poland” survey, which measures preferences regarding choice of education and future career paths. The survey has been routinely carried out by ELSA Poland since 2002. This year’s rankings are based on the opinions of over 1300 students from 20 faculties of law across Poland.

Andrzej Pośniak, CMS Poland Managing Partner, comments: “Thanks to fantastic lawyers, we can offer our clients the highest quality of legal services. That is why we are very keen to attract ambitious, law-loving and business-savvy young people who see their professional development here at CMS. We are very pleased with the choices made by law students, who have once again named CMS as a preferred place of work. This result also reflects our ongoing commitment to creating the best possible conditions for our lawyers, in terms of work atmosphere, opportunities to expand their legal knowledge, and opportunities for development and promotion.”

For several years, CMS has been a market leader in rankings analysing employment preferences in the legal market. Compared against 2019, CMS’s recognition amongst Polish law firms has increased by 10%, resulting in the firm moving to third place in the rankings (up from seventh place). Similarly, CMS has seen an improvement in its ranking as one of the most desirable workplaces, moving up the rankings to second place (from third place).
