Adam Kędziora, an attorney-at-law with extensive professional experience, is a counsel in the Energy and Infrastructure Practice at CMS Poland, advising clients from the electricity and gas sector, including renewable and conventional energy.
He advises, in particular, on project development, regulatory issues, grid connection aspects, PPA agreements (including corporate PPAs), energy trading and the day-to-day operations of energy companies. His experience in regulatory matters includes, in particular, representing clients in disputes before the President of the Energy Regulatory Authority, handling the process of obtaining licences, structuring the activity of entities involved in energy generation (including matters related to local energy generation) and energy trading.
He participated in projects related to the development of procedures, rules and model contracts for a natural gas transmission system operator. He has advised on a number of legal acts regulating the operation of energy companies.
He also advises clients in the renewable energy sector, in particular, on investments in wind farms (onshore and offshore) and photovoltaics.
He has participated in M&A and due diligence processes related to the purchase of, inter alia, renewable energy assets or gas distribution assets, as well as in ongoing advisory services related to the development of renewable energy projects and support programmes for such investments.
