Aleksandra Kurecka, a Polish-qualified advocate, is a senior associate in the Energy and Infrastructure Practice at CMS Poland.
She focuses on energy and environmental law and advises lenders and developers on renewable energy transactions, with particular experience in onshore wind, PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Poland and internationally. She also has experience in the Polish offshore sector, particularly in regulatory and permitting matters.
Her work spans M&A, private equity transactions and joint ventures in the renewables and infrastructure sectors. She drafts and negotiates key project documents, including EPC contracts, PPAs, and construction and service agreements, particularly for complex infrastructure and industrial developments.
Aleksandra supports energy projects from early planning through to operation, covering spatial planning and environmental approvals, permits and consents, tendering and contracting. Her experience includes preparing implementation documentation and negotiating with technology suppliers, contractors and energy offtakers. She advises international clients entering the Polish market, providing end to end support for greenfield developments.
