Dr Andrzej Girdwoyń is an associate in the Dispute Resolution Practice specialising in civil and commercial disputes.

His experience includes advising in litigation proceedings arising under construction contracts, in compensation cases relating to traffic disasters and advising on liability for unlawful acts of the public authorities resulting in the limitation of the client’s ability to conduct business.

He has advised national and international business entities in the construction, telecommunications, transport (air and rail) and real estate sectors, as well as clients in the creative sector.

He has jointly conducted precedent-setting cases that resulted in the reinstatement of whistleblowers dismissed by a public body following revelations of cases of organisational negligence that posed a threat to public safety.

Andrzej is involved in training and also runs workshops for clients and their in-house legal teams.

Management boards of companies in the infrastructure sector, including expert opinions on the legitimacy and advisability of amicable resolution of disputes conducted by companies, under the principles of liability of members of management boards of companies for conducting their affairs with due diligence.

Polish and foreign companies in the construction sector in disputes against public and private investors, including disputes concerning contracts based on FIDIC clauses.
Entities in the aviation and railway sectors on compensation matters, including traffic disasters.
