Anna is a European Patent Attorney with a PhD in solid state physics based in the Warsaw patent team integrated into the CMS London office.

She specialises in prosecution and drafting of patent applications, particularly nanotechnology, physics and computer related inventions. Based on previous private practice and in-house experience she has also gained an expertise in providing infringement and validity advice and performing freedom-to-operate search and analysis.

Before becoming a patent attorney, she studied Material Science and carried out a scientific fellowship in the CCLRC Daresbury Laboratory, Magnetic Spectroscopy Group focusing on soft X-ray scattering for magnetic systems. She also worked as an adjunct in the ILT&SR Polish Acad. Sci. specializing in X-ray diffraction techniques and in an IT company as a software quality engineer in the area of cloud computing and distributed systems architecture.
