  • Polish

Anna is a European Patent Attorney with an MSc in Material Science and a DPhil in Solid State Physics. Anna is a Representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). Anna helps clients protect their technology through patents in a wide variety of fields, including AI, software, material science, optics, and physics. This includes neural networks, molecular computing, multi-core systems, programming languages, information retrieval, machine learning, the Internet of Things, time-of-flight cameras, HMD, natural user interface technology, image processing, cloud computing technology, and more.

Anna specialises in the prosecution of patent applications. However, based on previous private practice and in-house experience, Anna has also gained expertise in providing IP management advice, infringement and validity advice, and performing freedom-to-operate searches and analyses.

Before becoming a European patent attorney, Anna held a scientific fellowship in the CCLRC Daresbury Laboratory UK, Magnetic Spectroscopy Group, focusing on soft X-ray scattering for magnetic systems. Anna also worked as an adjunct at the ILT&SR Polish Academy of Sciences, specialising in X-ray diffraction techniques, and in an IT company as a software quality engineer in the area of cloud computing and distributed systems architecture.

Anna is based in the Warsaw office but is integrated into the CMS London patent team.
