Krzysztof Czyżewski is an advocate and associate in the Banking and Finance practice at CMS. 

He specialises in issues related to debt financing and debt restructuring. He has participated in numerous financing transactions, in particular in the form of bond issuances, advising the creditors, financial institutions, and financed entities from various industries. He has experience in out-of-court (contractual) debt restructuring and in court restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings.

Relevant experience

  • O bond issuances by entities from various sectors, including preparing and negotiating the issuance and collateral documentation.
  • Bondholders and issuers in the post-issuance stage, including matters related to enforcement of collateral, bondholder meetings and the sale of bonds.
  • Creditors and debtors on out-of-court debt restructuring (in particular standstill agreements and restructuring agreements).
  • Creditors and debtors in court and bankruptcy proceedings.
