Marta Tarkowska-Losik, an attorney-at-law, is an associate in the Energy and Infrastructure Practice at CMS Poland.
Marta takes part in projects carried out for entities from the energy sector. She advises on investment-related issues within energy projects, including line projects, in particular in the oil and gas sector. She also takes part in due diligence reviews performed for the renewable energy sector, in particular in the scope of investments in photovoltaic installations and wind farms.
Marta also advises clients on environmental aspects in Polish and EU environmental protection law. She has experience in environmental projects, in particular in obtaining environmental decisions concerning pollution of ground surfaces and groundwater and compliance with emission standards set out in the IEDs, BAT conclusions and granting derogations and in this respect. In addition, Marta participates in projects on legal issues relating to climate change, including CO₂ emissions (EU ETS) and REACH.
Marta takes part in due diligence reviews in the scope of environmental protection, in particular with regard to obtaining environmental permits.
She advises in obtaining permits (including environmental permits) in high value investment projects. She also prepares memoranda and opinions in this area.
