Michał Resmer is an attorney-at-law and an associate in the Intellectual Property and Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice at CMS Poland.

Michał is a seasoned intellectual property expert, with a strong focus on trademarks, copyrights, and combating unfair competition. He advises global brands on end-to-end IP strategies – from brand selection and clearance, through global filing and prosecution, to high-stakes disputes and enforcement. His practice spans both contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including litigation over exclusive rights and complex administrative proceedings.

He brings in-depth sector knowledge of the music, gaming, tech, media, and consumer goods industries, offering commercially-focused, strategic advice tailored to the fast-evolving nature of these markets. Michał also gained invaluable insights into in-house operations during an extended secondment with the IP & Litigation team of a leading media and telecoms group. This has further enhanced his ability to navigate complex, cross-border IP challenges.
