Monika Piepiórka is an associate in the Corporate / M&A Department at the Warsaw office of CMS. She is a trainee advocate at the Warsaw Bar Association.

Monika advises clients on commercial and company law. She specialises in conducting due diligence, M&A transactions and ongoing legal advice on corporate issues to Polish and foreign companies.

  • Kosit a.s. and ewia CCE6 s.r.o. (companies backed up by Wood & Company) on the acquisition of a Polish waste management company Best-Eko sp. z o.o. from its owners.
  • Marioff Group on the acquisition of INSTAC’s fire protection HI-FOG business.
  • Syntaxis Capital and its portfolio company Syntaxis New Europe Investments on the minority acquisition of the shares in Bracia Sadownicy Sp. z o.o., family company producing juices, and mezzanine financing for the purposes of acquisition of a Poland-based juice producer - Victoria Cymes.
  • Capmont Opportunities GmbH on the acquisition of the majority of the Quad/Graphics’ European operations.
  • Founders of Cobi S.A., the largest manufacturer of toy building blocks and toy distributor in Poland, in connection with the sale of 40% of the shares in Cobi S.A. to Resource Partners.
  • Eesti Gaas AS, the largest private energy company in the Baltic-Finnish region and part of the investment company Infortar, on the acquisition of EWE group’s energy business in Poland.
  • PartyDeco and its owners on the sale of the majority stake of the shares in PartyDeco to the RiO fund owned by Rafał Brzoska and Omena Mensah. PartyDeco is a Polish designer and manufacturer of high-quality ornaments and occasional collections and it has a leading position in the B2B e-commerce segment in Western Europe.
  • Medicover on the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Ostoya Holding sp. z o.o., Propsyche Allenort sp. z o.o. and Psychiatria Allenort Białystok sp. z o.o., operating a psychiatric hospital and therapy clinics under the brands: "Allenort", "ProPsyche" and "Psychomedica".
