Urszula Zawadzka-Hawrylak, a Polish-qualified advocate, is an associate in the Energy and Infrastructure Practice at CMS Poland.
She specialises in advising on the investment and construction process of infrastructure projects, including legal support in obtaining administrative decisions and preparing and negotiating construction and operation contracts, particularly those based on public procurement law and FIDIC templates. She also supports clients at the contract execution stage, addressing issues related to the claims management and strategy preparation.
Her expertise includes conventional energy, renewable energy (onshore and offshore wind farms, PV farms, BESS installations), transport infrastructure (airports, railway lines), industrial facilities (petrochemical installations, steel plants, waste treatment facilities), and warehouses. Urszula is experienced in conducting due diligence for the acquisition, sale, or financing of projects related to wind and photovoltaic farms, BESS installations, and industrial and infrastructure facilities.
Additionally, she has conducted training courses on construction law for representatives of the construction, development, and energy sectors and lectured on the investment and construction process as part of postgraduate studies at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
