Zuzanna Bafia is an advocate and a counsel in the Real Estate and Construction Department of CMS Poland.
She specialises in providing legal services in real estate transactions, including advice on the acquisition and sale of office and commercial real estate. She supports local clients and international real estate funds operating in Poland, as well as investors who are just planning to expand into the Polish market. Her experience includes the preparation of transaction documentation, participation in due diligence processes, as well as in obtaining insurance policies and negotiating on behalf of real estate investors. She successfully represents both landlords and tenants in real estate leasing projects. She has also participated in negotiations and preparation of lease agreements in the triple net standard, i.e. when the tenant covers all lease costs (insurance, taxes and maintenance).
Prior to joining CMS, she gained professional experience in the real estate department of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig.
