Private rented sector (“PRS”) projects are a new occurrence on the Polish real estate market and, as a result, there is a shortage of a relevant legal framework or jurisprudence. On the other hand, however, the PRS market in Poland is developing very fast and as a result of this large demand, investors are often faced with the question of the type of zoning under which is it permitted to develop PRS projects. However, it is still debatable whether PRS projects may be developed on services-designated zoning.
