CMS in Vienna saw this as an opportunity to host a business breakfast on the current issues surrounding expansion to China. One of the speakers was CMS China expert Jeanette Yu, CMS partner in China, who has advised European companies for more than 15 years. Together with Dietmar Schwank, WKÖ Regional Manager for the Far East & Oceania, and Dieter Hengl, member of the Executive Board at UniCredit Bank Austria and an expert on export and trade finance, the speakers instructed some 50 participants on the legal requirements in terms of establishing companies, labour law issues, financing options and on how data can be protected by the new Cyber Security Law.

Peter Huber, Managing Partner at CMS in Vienna, emphasises CMS’ extensive knowledge of expanding into China: “CMS has been working in China for almost three decades.
