EU Gen­er­al Court sus­pends State aid re­cov­ery
On 15 May 2018, the Pres­id­ent of the Gen­er­al Court ordered the sus­pen­sion of the op­er­a­tion of a Com­mis­sion de­cision on State aid. The de­cision con­cerned, among oth­ers, Span­ish foot­ball club Elche Club de Fut­bol, SAD, which had re­ceived il­leg­al and in­com­pat­ible.

On 12 June 2018, the Court of Justice of the EU rendered its much-awaited judge­ment in the case about Louboutin’s red sole trade mark, rul­ing that this trade mark does not re­late to a spe­cif­ic shape of sole for high-heeled shoes since the de­scrip­tion ex­pli­citly.
