CMS Belgium advised the Brussels scale-up Fyteko on its series B capital raise, including a EUR 13 million capital increase in cash as well as a number of secondary transactions. The capital raise aimed at accelerating the commercial deployment of its plant biostimulant. Fyteko produces and markets biosolutions for agriculture that protect seeds in the event of severe drought, strengthening the plants' yield.
As part of the capital raise, Fyteko welcomes several new shareholders, who will join long-standing shareholders such as the Innovation Fund: Société fédérale de participations et d'investissement (SFPIM), finance&invest.brussels, Fonds révolution environnementale et solidaire, a fund of the French bank Crédit Mutuel, the investment company IMBC, the French deeptech platform Supernova Invest and Agrifoodinvest, a fund linked to EIT Food, a European network stimulating innovation in the food industry.
The CMS team advising Fyteko comprised Vincent Dirckx, Philippe Hendrickx, Charles-Antoine du Bus and Ségolène Regout.
