CMS Belgium advised ARK Capture Solutions on their first fund raising round, securing EUR 2,2 million. The financing round was led by Aperam Ventures, the investment arm of the steel group, along with the Brussels-based Seeder Fund. They were joined by Wallonie Entreprendre, InvestBW, and Noshaq as well as the BeAngels network of investors, and two French entities (Climate Club and LuneVentures).
The Walloon start-up, ARK Capture Solutions is a Cleantech company providing innovative CO₂ capture solutions, focusing on the capture of emissions stemming from industrial flue gases with low CO₂ concentrations. No other viable solution exists on the market to address these emissions, which account for 50% of the world’s total emissions.
The funds raised will be used to enhance their proprietary point source CO₂ capture technology.
The CMS team advising ARK Capture Solutions comprised David Prync, Zoé Janssen and Charles-Antoine du Bus.
