CMS Sofia assisted OMV Petrom E&P Bulgaria SRL in acquisition of 25% interest in the exploration agreement for Block 1-26 Han Tervel offshore Bulgaria, which was approved by the Bulgarian Council of Ministers on 7 May 2026. The current titulars include Shell Exploration & Production (96) B.V. (with 75% interest and Operator of the Block) and OMV Petrom E&P Bulgaria SRL (with 25% interest).
The CMS Sofia team was led by Kostadin Sirleshtov, Managing Partner at CMS Sofia, and included Denitsa Dudevska and Petar Petrov (EPC) and Alexander Rangelov (Tax).
