K&H Bank - on the Pannonia Ethanol financing amendment, which company is a leading renewable ethanol producer in Central and Eastern Europe, adds nearly EUR 500 million to Hungary’s GDP.

MMBF, member of MFB Group, the Hungarian natural gas storage company - on a high-value refinancing matter. Our advice included the amendment of the term sheet, the facility agreement and security agreement and the issuing of the enforceability agreement.

Engie SA - on the acquisition of a limited natural gas trading. CMS Budapest assisted the French and Romanian branches of Engie - which is a French multinational utility company operating in the fields of electricity generation and distribution, natural gas, nuclear, renewable energy and Petroleum - in the acquisition of a limited natural gas trading license. Further to the above, CMS Budapest proves advice to Engie in general in relation its gas trading activities in Hungary.

Iberdrola - on all corporate and regulatory aspects of the acquisition of 25% ownership in Iberdrola Renowables Hungary from EBRD. The transaction was closed in June 2017.

A major international energy company - on the planned acquisition of 7 SPVs and PV projects in Hungary, which deal is one of the biggest photovoltaic acquisitions in the Hungarian market with a total capacity of 330 MW. Legal work includes drafting EPC and O&M contracts as well.

A major Renewable Energy company – on legal due dilgences services regarding the planned acquisition of a 20 MW PV project portfolio with green premium subsidy entitlement.

A leading international oil and gas company – on their core strategic projects such as advising on the next phase of its US$1.9bn (EUR 1.6 bn) Polyol Project, which aims to make the company the only integrated polyol producer in CEE.

A leading international commercial bank

  • on the Solar Markt matter, on the financing of two solar plant projects, which included in-depth energy due diligence advisory, specific highly complex energy regulatory advice and the preparation of loan agreement documents;
  • on the financing of a 57.4MW photovoltaic project consisting of three new power plants at Nadasd, Tuzser and Kapuvar in Hungary.

A major commercial bank

  • on the financing of 4 solar power plants (495 kW / each and a total capacity of 1,98 MW) in Domaszék. Our tasks included the due diligence and drafting and finalizing the facility agreements.

A major international renewable energy company - on the planned acquisition of multiple SPVs and PV projects in several locations in Hungary, which deal is one of the biggest photovoltaic acquisitions in the Hungarian market.

A major commercial bank

  • on the financing of the solar power plant projects of a Slovak and Czech investor with an estimated total capacity of 11MW (22 x 0,5MW) to be realized within the framework of the KÁT system;
  • on the financing of OMNI Energy. Our key tasks included the drafting of the facility and security agreements and representing the client during the negotiations and signing;
  • on a photovoltaic project financing in Hungary. The photovoltaic power plants will be built close to Barcs, where DMJ Management Solutions Kft. is the borrower. We supported the client during the due diligence part of the transaction.
