Our training programme
Without you, nothing would get done here! As a legal assistant (Rechtsanwaltsfachangestellte:r), you are the first point of contact at our law firm. Even before clients shake the lawyer's hand, they will have already had contact with you.
At our Berlin office, we also offer training as a legal and notary's assistant (Rechtsanwalts- und Notarfachangestellte:r).
Your tasks
- Modern secretarial management
- In-person and telephone communication with our clients, service providers and colleagues
- Preparing written statements, draft contracts and presentations
- Preparing and following up on meetings
- Careful and responsible record keeping
- Performing travel management
- Providing support with calculating and monitoring deadlines
- Assisting in the preparation of invoices
What you should bring to the role
- Good university entrance qualification (Abitur/Fachabitur) or very good secondary school certificate (Realschulabschluss)
- Fluency in German and English
- True team-player attitude and talent for multitasking
- Composure and good manners
- Enjoyment of organisational tasks and an interest in legal contexts

Your opportunities after training
After you have successfully completed your training, we can offer you numerous opportunities to get you started with us. If we take you on after your training, you will be eligible for further training as a legal assistant. Do you have particularly high ambitions? Then we will support you in your studies to become a lawyer's certified assistant (Rechtswirt:in) or a lawyer's certified senior assistant (Rechtsfachwirt:in).
Our notary's assistants (Notarfachangestellte) play a major role in the success of our notary team. They support the notaries in all their work.
Your tasks
- Preparing deeds and contracts
- Organising appointments and preliminary discussions with clients, authorities and other involved parties
- Making entries in the land register and commercial register
- Invoicing
- Managing records

Your opportunities after training
After you have successfully completed your training, there will be many options open to you. Our teams of assistants and teams in the different departments offer a varied position and are waiting for your support. Do you want more? Then we will be your partner in your further training to become a senior assistant (Fachwirt).
IT is our nervous system – and we are putting it in your hands. As an IT expert, you are the first point of contact for technical matters. Together with your motivated team, you will ensure that all processes run smoothly – which in the IT network of one of the largest law firms in Germany makes for a fulfilling task.
Your tasks
- Planning, configuring and maintaining IT systems as well as client and cloud applications
- Customised user support for PC, telecommunications and network systems
- Helping design exciting projects in IT and in cooperation with our trainees in other positions
What you should bring to the role
- Good university entrance qualification (Abitur/Fachabitur) or very good secondary school certificate (Realschulabschluss)
- Fluency in German and English
- Team-player attitude and talent for multitasking

- Enjoyment of and interest in IT systems and software

After you have successfully completed your training, we will make a start on your career together. You will become more embedded in our IT and take on more responsibility. We will be at your side if you choose to take further training as a software developer or IT project coordinator.
