CMS advises IT service provider Bechtle on acquisition of Dutch IT system house PQR

Stuttgart – International IT service provider Bechtle AG has acquired Dutch firm PQR B.V., which has a 32-year track record as an IT system house with a strong focus on the public sector and a portfolio centred on hybrid cloud environments. The acquisition is part of Bechtle’s strategy for growth in European countries outside the DACH region and will allow it to significantly expand its market presence in the Netherlands. The acquisition is currently awaiting approval from the competition authorities. Further details of the transaction were not disclosed.

A CMS team consisting of Stuttgart-based partner Dr Tobias Schneider and Dr Maximilian Eitelbuß advised Bechtle AG on all legal aspects of the acquisition. The CMS team was supported on the transaction by Dutch law firms Lexence and Maverick Advocaten.
