CMS advises kaarlo health on a successful capital increase
Düsseldorf – kaarlo health GmbH has carried out a capital increase as part of a financing round. The start-up has done this with the aim of further expanding its digital self-help platform for the treatment of psychosomatic complaints.
CMS provided kaarlo health GmbH with comprehensive advice on all legal matters relating to the financing round. The team, led by Christopher Freiherr von Lilien-Waldau, was responsible in particular for preparing the documentation for raising the capital and drafting the shareholding agreements.
kaarlo health GmbH is a digital health company which, in collaboration with Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, specialises in the early and accessible treatment of psychosomatic complaints. Through evidence-based digital self-therapy via an app and tailored human support, kaarlo health GmbH aims to ease the burden on patients, doctors and health insurance providers alike. The scalable healthcare model aims to reduce gaps in care, prevent conditions from becoming chronic and avoid unnecessary demands on the healthcare system.
