CMS Hasche Sigle advises 3i on the sale of Rodcraft to Atlas Copco group

3i and the management team have sold the Mülheimer Rodcraft group to Atlas Copco Holding GmbH.

Rodcraft (www.rodcraft.com) with its domicile in Mülheim an der Ruhr specialises in the development and production of pneumatic tools and workshop facilities for the equipment of car workshops. With 78 employees the company had a turnover of approx. EUR 23 million in 2006.

The Atlas Copco group (www.atlascopco.com) with its domicile in Stockholm, Sweden, is a worldwide group of companies which develops and produces industrial tools, pneumatic equipment, construction and mining equipment and assembly robotics. The group employs more than 27,000 employees and has over 50 plants in approx. 20 countries.
