CMS Hasche Sigle advises Baugenossenschaft Leipzig on sale of 294 real estate objects to conwert

conwert Immobilien Invest AG listed on the Vienna stock exchange has acquired 294 real estate objects with a total of more than 2200 apartments from Baugenossenschaft Leipzig eG. A team from CMS Hasche Sigle under the leadership of Gerd Schmidt, partner in Leipzig, advised Baugenossenschaft Leipzig during the transaction. Details of the purchase price were not disclosed.
The real estate acquired has a total usable floor area of approx. 151,000 m² and for the most part constitutes key objects in Leipzig which are to be developed into even more attractive residential properties. conwert whose core business focuses on the leasing and development of old residential properties is further extending its involvement in Germany by means of this acquisition.
