Real estate consultant CBRE is acquiring a portfolio of seven properties for the CB Richard Ellis SPE III "value added" fund from the Whitehall Fund for a substantial eight-digit figure. The portfolio, which has hitherto been managed by the Archon Group, consists of properties in Duesseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Offenbach, Munich, Augsburg and Hamburg. The CBRE fund invests in particular in office, commercial, residential and industrial real estate in mainland Europe.
