CMS Hasche Sigle advises JORDAHL on the acquisition of the ABACUS Group

Berlin – JORDAHL GmbH strengthens its position in the USA and Canada with the acquisition of the ABACUS Group. The ABACUS Group is comprised of a number of companies in Canada and in the USA: Continental Decon Inc., Western Studwelding Supply Inc., Decon USA Inc. and AGM Industries Inc.

Dr. Eva Annett Grigoleit and Dr. Igor Stenzel have comprehensively advised JORDAHL GmbH together with an international law team on this cross-border transaction.

Continental Decon is an important manufacturer and seller in the studrail market. Decon has worked in partnership with the German company JORDAHL GmbH since 2009 and successfully sells JORDAHL® products in addition to its own. JORDAHL® fastening, reinforcement and connection products are used in large numbers of – frequently spectacular – buildings and civil engineering projects across the globe.

By acquiring the entire ABACUS Group, JORDAHL aims to further cement its position in this strategically important market while continuing to grow its international presence.
