Munich – NORDholding Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft mbH has become the new majority shareholder in the Kleffmann Group, the leading provider of agricultural market research.
Lead partner Dr Ulrich Springer and Sebastian Wilhelm advised the Kleffmann Group on all aspects of the transaction.
Established in 1990, the Kleffmann Group employs more than 350 people around the world in 17 subsidiaries. It is headquartered in Lüdinghausen, Germany. Management expects sales of approximately EUR 21 million in the current financial year. The Group’s key activities are worldwide data collection and data analysis in the agricultural sector.
NORD Holding has been acting as an equity investor for upper-tier SMEs for some 40 years. It focuses on structuring and financing corporate succession models, acquiring parts of groups/subsidiaries and on financing the expansion of SMEs. The company currently has stakes in more than 30 companies in Germany and other German-speaking countries.
