CMS Hasche Sigle has advised CMP Fonds I GmbH (CMP) on the sale of its shares in Lloyd Dynamowerke GmbH & Co. KG (LDW). The buyer – Kirloskar Electric Company Ltd. – was advised by Raupach & Wollert-Elmendorff.

LDW, whose registered office is in Bremen, was established in 1915 as part of AEG. LDW produces electrical machines and drive systems for industrial applications. Its clients include Siemens and Thyssen Krupp.

Kirloskar Electric Company Ltd. is part of Indian's largest engineering and technological company. Kirloskar hopes that this acquisition will enable it to gain a foothold on the European market. At the same time it is planning to sell LDW products in India and South-East Asia under the name AEG.

CMS Hasche Sigle has been advising CMP on a regular basis with a team led by Dr Eva-Annett Grigoleit and Ralf Kurney. It also assisted CMP on its purchase of LDW.
