Together with DZ Equity Partner GmbH as co-investor and the directors of the myonic Group, Süd
Private Equity GmbH & Co. KGaA (Süd Private Equity) has acquired the myonic Group from Swiss
financial investor Capvis. A team of 14 lawyers from CMS Hasche Sigle led by Dr Peter Baisch,
partner in the Stuttgart office, advised Süd Private Equity during the transaction. The task also
encompassed advice and negotiations on external funding which was handled by Landesbank
Baden-Württemberg (LBBW).
The myonic Group, domiciled in Leutkirch, is a leading supplier of systems in the field of
high-precision miniature ball bearings focusing on dental and medical technology and aerospace
engineering. The group has sites in Keynes (UK), Ringwood (USA) and Roznow (Czech Republic).
Together with the management, the aim of Süd Private Equity is to consolidate and expand myonic's
position on the international market.
In the past, Dr Peter Baisch has advised Süd Privat Equity on many occasions. Süd Private
Equity GmbH & Co. KGaA, a subsidiary of LBBW and domiciled in Stuttgart, offers tailor-made
solutions in equity capital financing for medium-sized companies.
