CMS Hasche Sigle advises voestalpine on the acquisition of the Drahtwerk Finsterwalde

CMS Hasche Sigle has advised voestalpine Austria Draht GmbH, a company belonging to voestalpine – railway systems division – on the acquisition of all shares in the wireworks and steel company Finsterwalde GmbH. Stuttgart CMS Hasche Sigle partners, Dr Thomas Meyding and Stefan Sieling, led the transaction for voestalpine.

voestalpine Austria Draht GmbH is a subsidiary of the Austrian voestalpine AG, a leading European group and steel processor.
Now that it has gained Drahtwerk Finsterwalde in southern Brandenburg voestalpine has extended its value-added chain and has acquired a company with a turnover last year of EUR 90 million which employs approx. 200 employees.
