The Leipzig office of CMS Hasche Sigle, largest and leading law firm in Leipzig, gains further
reinforcement. Partner Rolf-Christian Stratz and associate Dr Jörg Lips will move from Schmitt,
Hörtnagel + Partner in Leipzig to CMS Hasche Sigle with effect from 01.07.2005. CMS Hasche Sigle is
thereby further extending the successful growth areas of corporate and tax law.
Rolf-Christian Stratz has been a lawyer in Leipzig since 1992. He is a tried and trusted
expert in the field of corporate and tax law. His key areas include, in particular, public
commercial law and M&A. Moreover Stratz is editor and co-author of numerous relevant
publications, e.g. the commentary on the Transformation of Companies Act and the Transformation of
Companies Tax Act in C. H. Beck's yellow series and the Beck’sche Mandatshandbuch Unternehmenskauf.
Dr Jörg Lips is also to join CMS Hasche Sigle. He has been a lawyer in Leipzig since 1999 and
has been in Stratz's team since then.
