Hock Group files for insolvency with aid of CMS
Stuttgart – The Hock Group, a supplier to the automotive and electrical industry, has filed for insolvency in relation to its eight German companies. The insolvency is due to cash flow problems. The German sites will continue to operate, while the location in Romania is not affected by the insolvency.
A team headed by lead partner and restructuring expert Dr Alexandra Schluck-Amend advised the Hock Group on all legal aspects of preparing and submitting the insolvency applications. The CMS team reviewed the financial situation of the companies at the five German sites, prepared the insolvency applications for the competent district courts and advised on the procedure up until submission. Dr Alexandra Schluck-Amend has Special expertise in the automotive sector.
The Hock Group has around 900 employees and manufactures parts from sheet metal, plastic and using metal powder injection moulding. In addition to Hock Holding GmbH & Co. KG, the following companies filed for insolvency: Hock GmbH in Schönwald, Hock Sachsen GmbH and Werkzeugbau Weigel GmbH in Grünhain-Beierfeld, b.s.u. biebertaler stanz- und umformtechnik GmbH in Biebertal, Dressel + Höfner GmbH & Co. KG in Neustadt and two management companies.
