Armin Dürrschmidt advises German and international clients in the context of complex disputes and represents them in court as well as in international arbitration proceedings. Acting as lead counsel, he has represented private investors and international companies in numerous cross-border disputes. As a party representative, he has conducted arbitration proceedings under the rules of all major arbitration institutions.
Based on his long-standing M&A work as a corporate lawyer, Armin in particular focuses on post-deal disputes including disputes between joint venture partners.
He joined CMS in 1998 and became a partner in 2002. In 1998, he was seconded to Kronish Lieb Weiner Hellman in New York and in 2001 to Palmer & Dodge LLP in Boston.
