With long-standing experience in customs administration Claudia Sicken advises companies on all aspects of customs and excise law, among others focusing on compliance with the regulations of the Union Customs Code and the associated implementing legislation. Claudia also advises listed companies, in particular life science companies, including pharmaceuticals and food, on the enforcement of trademark and design rights.
Claudia joined CMS in 2022. Before studying law, she was a customs officer at the Federal Customs Administration from 2007 to 2014 while simultaneously completing a study programme there. Claudia has been a lecturer at the Hamburg Customs Academy for over ten years.
