Johannes Bescher mainly advises investors, financial institutions and project developers from Germany and abroad on all aspects of real estate law, in particular on German and cross-border real estate transactions as well as on commercial tenancy law and legal asset management. Johannes Bescher has a special focus on advising hotel investors and operators.
Johannes Bescher has been a lawyer at CMS since 2015 and has been based in Berlin since 2017. He has been a counsel since 2020. In 2014/2015 Johannes Bescher worked for the Shanghai office of CMS for four months. In 2019/2020, he spent a four-month secondment at CMS' Paris office. Johannes Bescher regularly gives lectures to French students of the IRE BS Real Estate Academy / ESSEC Business School on the legal framework of real estate transactions in Germany.
