Lena Pingen advises German and international clients on all aspects of individual and collective employment law, drafting relevant contracts as well as providing support in disputes relating to co-determination or the termination of employment relationships.
Her practice focuses on restructurings and reorganisations, including the negotiation of works agreements, reconciliations of interests and social compensation plans with employee representative bodies. She has extensive experience advising on complex cross-border and multi-entity restructuring projects, particularly in the metal and metalworking industry, and regularly negotiates with trade unions as well as local, central and group works councils.
She joined the CMS team in 2022. The foundations for her specialisation in employment law were laid through her doctorate and while working as a research assistant at a major commercial law firm.
