Lorenz C. Schuwerack specialises in insolvency and restructuring. He advises and supports companies in all phases of insolvency proceedings, from filing the application to successfully continuing as a going concern or realisation. The focus of his work is in insolvency administration, supervision and self-administration. He is also regularly involved in the design and implementation of insolvency plans.
Lorenz C. Schuwerack started his career in 2024 at a law firm specialising in employment law. In 2025, he switched to insolvency administration and joined CMS in 2026. Before becoming a lawyer, he was a lecturer for alternative dispute resolution and mediation at Bucerius Law School and in the area of employment law at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences.
