Nina Stolzenburg focuses on advising companies on trademark, design and copyright as well as on unfair competition matters, including the German Heilmittelwerberecht, which regulates advertising in the healthcare sector. She specialises in IP enforcement, with particular expertise in anti-counterfeiting and illegal parallel imports. In this context, she develops strategies, advises on border seizure applications and handles the whole border seizure procedure including all customs legislation, civil and criminal law aspects. Nina is also an experienced product liability lawyer.
She has special life sciences sector expertise and acts for pharmaceutical and consumer goods companies as well as for medical device and plant protection product manufacturers. Fashion, cosmetics and luxury goods companies also regularly seek Nina’s advice.
Nina joined CMS in 2010 and has been a principal counsel since 2020. She gained client-side experience on secondments with an internationally operating pharmaceutical company and the German distributor of a Danish medical device manufacturer.
