Yannik von Schwander specialises in compliance. He assists national and international clients with everything from proactively creating and implementing compliance structures to conducting internal investigations on suspected compliance breaches.
In the past, his work has focused in particular on regulatory and administrative law. He has experience in antitrust compliance and investigations relating to state aid law. In addition, he advises companies in security-related sectors – in particular the security and defence industries, as well as the logistics sector – on protecting confidential information and on other regulatory requirements.
Before joining CMS in 2026, Yannik von Schwander worked in the regulatory practice of an international commercial law firm in Brussels. During his studies he gained valuable international experience working at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., and at an international corporate law firm in Berlin.
