Warning: fraudulent emails sent in the name of CMS!

Warning! We are currently receiving an increasing number of reports of fraudulent emails advertising, under the name CMS, alleged opportunities to buy suspiciously cheap items of value from insolvency estates. The unknown perpetrators are using domains that do not belong to CMS but which sound similar, such as "cms-anwaelte.de" and "cms-deutschland.de", as well as a Munich telephone number that also does not belong to CMS. The perpetrators are operating as lawyer Philipp Schneider who does, in fact, work for CMS in Munich but naturally has nothing to do with these emails. In some cases, the perpetrators have tried to exert pressure by making telephone calls in different names and sending out draft contracts.

Neither CMS Hasche Sigle Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten und Steuerberatern mbB nor our subsidiaries or lawyers engage in any trade in items originating from insolvency estates and we will not contact you with any such offers.

Please do NOT engage with such offers and do not transfer any money. We strongly recommend that you report the offence to your nearest police station.

CMS itself has already filed a criminal complaint against the unknown perpetrators and is taking all possible criminal and civil action against them.
