César Navarro is Head of the Employment and Pensions department at CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo. He specializes in labour law and social security and is an expert in labour implications derived from mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring processes, as well as outsourcing, top management, modification of working conditions, negotiation of collective agreements, collective dismissals and legal defence in judicial proceedings before the labour courts.

He has been recognised in the Employment practice by the main and most prestigious legal directories such as Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.

In 2020, César’s team was recognised as law firm of the year in restructuring and reorganisations by Iberian Lawyer.

  • César has advised sector-leading companies on a wide variety of matters, including HP on the employment-related aspects of its acquisition of the Samsung printer business, Andritz on complex negotiations with trade unions and Siemens Gamesa on coordinating its global restructuring across six jurisdictions and the execution of mass redundancy procedures and termination measures in Spain.
