CMS HR Gathering: Mental health in the workplace

Join us in Lisbon or online!

Past event
21 March 2023, 09:00 - 12:00 UTC +01:00

The topic of mental health has been rising rapidly up the HR agenda.

As employees contend with issues such as burnout, work-life balance, and an uncertain economic outlook – not to mention macro events such as the Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine - questions are increasingly being asked about the roles and responsibilities of employers.

But the answers are not straightforward, especially as regulation struggles to keep pace with public debate. Although employers are aware of the need to safeguard their workforce’s mental wellbeing, legislation still fails to specify how.

To explore the issue of mental health in the workplace, we warmly invite you to our CMS HR Gathering in Lisbon in March.

The event forms part of a series of initiatives that CMS is promoting around this important subject.

Our speakers include Rob Stephenson, leading mental health campaigner, Richard Martin, Executive Officer of the Mindful Business CharterRaquel Sampaio, co-founder of Direito Mental, as well as legal, HR and psychology experts.

We’ll be exploring the benefits of investing in employee mental health and the steps firms can take, and sharing real-life examples of how organisations have navigated the challenges that can arise.

Whether you are an HR professional, an in-house counsel, have international HR responsibility, or need to deal with employment matters in your company, we think this will be an unmissable event on a subject no employer can afford to ignore.

You can opt to join us in person or online. However you choose to attend, there will be no charge. Please note that in-person places are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. For the sake of other participants, we kindly ask you not to cancel your participation once registered, or to do so ahead of time.

The seminar will be in English.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Lisbon!
