CA Animation’s first bond issue | CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advises Natixis

Natixis, the lead arranger for this issue, selected CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre as its advisor.

CA Animation, which makes and sells fine pork products, deli and grocery foods, foie gras and duck-meat products, successfully completed its first attempt to raise capital in financial markets by issuing 35 million euros of bonds that were placed with institutional investors. The bonds pay a 4.80% coupon and mature on 25 March 2019.

CA Animation is a privately-held company that is not rated. The bonds were issued under a Euro Private Placement and will be traded on the EuroMTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

The issue will mainly be used to fund acquisitions. The bond prospectus was approved by the Luxembourg Stock Exchange on 21 March 2014.
