The Clestra group has as an activity the design, the manufacturing and the marketing of removable wall partitions and accessories for office property as sets consisting of partitions. The group turnovers Euro220m (under Clestra Hauserman, Mecanobloc and Cleanroom registered trademarks) and employs 1100 people throughout the world. It is the world market leader with production units in France (Strasbourg, Dourdan), in India (Pune), in North Korea (Gumi) and in China (Shanghai).

The deal had for purpose the takeover of the Clestra holding company by Financière Clestra, a 100% subsidiary of Windhurst Participations. Windhurst Participations is an investment company managed by François-Denis Poitrinal, specialized in majority LBO operations. Benjamin Debris, business developer, has taken part in this deal.

The transferors were composed of a company of executives (Clesmanager SAS 25%) and of two investment funds (Electropar France 38% and Financière Tuileries P6LLC 37%).
