Vivalto Santé and a large group of practitioners in the establishment have taken over from Compagnie Générale de Santé control of the company Clinique Sourdille, which operates the establishment of the same name at Nantes, specialising in ophthalmology.
The transaction was financed by equity raising and bank finance orovided by Société Générale.
Vivalto Santé has strengthened its position in western France with this takeover since already after the acquisition of Cliniques Privées Associées in December 2009 it headed three clinics at Saint Grégoire (near Rennes), Saint Malo and Brest. At the beginnng of 2011 Vivalto Santé likewise acquired Polyclinique de la Baie at Avranches (Manche). The group has approximately 1.500 employees and brings in around 120 million euro in revenues.
Vivalto Santé is headed by Daniel Caille, who founded Générale de Santé twenty years ago.
For this operation Vivalto received legal advice from CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre through Arnaud Hugot and Virginie Corbet-Picard.
Compagnie Générale de Santé’s advisor was Lamy & Associés through Eric Baroin et Julien Hollier.
