The CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre DJCE Corporate Law Students of the Year Team Awards recognise the abilities of three students from the 11 DJCE programmes in France to work in multi-disciplinary teams. Twelve students selected for their motivation were organised into four teams working on the same case study, interacting with lawyers from the firm, each team defending its proposals before an internal panel headed by Daniel Gutmann, Partner for Taxation, member of the firm's tax doctrine team and Lecturer at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. The panel also included Philippe Grousset, Partner for Taxation, Christophe Blondeau, Partner for Corporate and Damien Decolasse, Partner for Employment and Pensions. The goal of this award is to put the students in situations that prepare them for their future profession.
About France's DJCE corporate law diploma:
The Diplôme de Juriste Conseil d’Entreprise (DJCE) is a diploma for corporate lawyers created in 1966. Since 1971, the course has been offered at specialist universities by the F.N.D.E. (Fédération Nationale pour le Droit de l'Entreprise, previously named Fondation Nationale pour le Droit de l'Entreprise).
