Le Nappage invests in and expands its activities regularly. After a series of investments in Italy, Spain and most recently at the Granges-Aumontzey site in France (Vosges), the group has just completed the acquisition of the French consumer tableware business of the Swedish group SCA, located in Saint-Etienne du Rouvray (Seine-Maritime). Le Nappage group therefore becomes the leading brand in the French market and the third largest European group.
In order to run this new business, Le Nappage has created Sodipan Table. The company, mainly specialised in the production of paper plates and paper napkins, has taken on all of the employees based at the Saint-Etienne du Rouvray site. Turnover from the business is €15 million. Sodipan Table joins Le Nappage's other sites based in France (at Granges-Aumontzey in the Vosges and Hoerdt in Alsace), Le Nappage Italia and the most recent addition, Le Nappage Iberica.
The number of Le Nappage group employees has thus increased from 140 to 205.
Le Nappage Group was advised by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre with, for corporate/M&A matters, Alexandre Morel (counsel) and Romain Boyet, for labour law matters, Pierre Bonneau (partner) and Florence Habrial, for tax matters, Frédéric Gerner (partner), for commercial contract matters, Anne-Laure Villedieu (partner) and, for restructuring matters, Alexandre Bastos (partner) and Guillaume Bouté.
