CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advises Artelia on the acquisition of the Auxitec Group

CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised Artelia on the acquisition of the Auxitec group. This transaction allows Artelia, the French leader in independent engineering in the building, infrastructure, water and environment sectors, to strengthen its positioning in the industry sector.

Auxitec achieved €80 million of turnover in 2016 and has 900 employees at 23 sites, mainly in France. The group has almost 400 clients from the refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, mechanics, aerospace, nuclear and pharmaceutical sectors.

Following the acquisition of the Auxitec group, Artelia has become a leading player in engineering in Europe with almost 5,000 employees and turnover of €520 million*.

For this transaction, the Artelia group was advised by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre with Christophe Blondeau (partner), Thomas Hains (counsel), Pierre Bondu and Noelle Boualem for corporate aspects, Philippe Donneaud (partner), André Loup (counsel) and Pauline Marret on tax aspects, Laurent Chatel (partner) on local tax aspects, Armelle Abadie on VAT aspects, Anne-Laure Villedieu (partner), Julie Tamba, Thomas Livenais and Diane De-Tarr on contractual and intellectual property aspects, Florence Duprat-Cerri (counsel) and Jennifer Morin-Lucas on welfare protection aspects, and Denis Redon (partner), Vincent Lorieul and Amaury Le Bourdon on competition aspects.

Auxitec was advised by Fidal with Xavier Simon for corporate aspects and Alexandre Pasco for tax aspects.
