NextStage has taken a role in the development of Groupe ACR, the French distributor of spare car parts for braking and ignition systems, by investing 8.2 million euros.

Groupe ACR, an independent distributor of spare car parts, is organised around two core businesses: ACR System for braking / handling, and Autec for ignition and charging (starters / alternators).

With a turnover of nearly €40m, Groupe ACR has excellent market recognition. This is based on the breadth and depth of its range, partnerships with the world's largest equipment manufacturers, higher skill levels among its staff, and logistics arrangements enabling very short delivery times. This positioning makes it the first operator to be able to offer comparable level of service on the French market.

The arrival of NextStage, alongside the existing management, will make it possible to accelerate finance for both organic and external growth on the part of Groupe ACR, and to bring its operational experience as an active investor to bear, so as to strengthen the group's position as market leader.
