CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre Lyon won six awards on Wednesday 22 November at the fifth Palmarès des Avocats Lyon (Lyon Lawyers Awards) 2017.
The awards are the result of a survey of several thousand clients (corporate lawyers, HR directors, managing directors, finance directors, etc.) from corporate law firms. This year, almost 3,000 votes were received, resulting in the list of winners compiled by Le Monde du Droit and the Association Française des Juristes d’Entreprise (AFJE – French Corporate Lawyers Association).
We were pleased to see our firm awarded in six categories:
- Competition/Distribution/Economic law
- Tax law
- Corporate law/Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity
- Urban planning law
As well as confirmation in respect of tax, corporate law/mergers & acquisitions/private equity and insolvency & restructuring law (gold award for the first time this year), two new areas were awarded this year – urban planning and environmental law.
More specifically, the gold award won by our competition/distribution/economic law department represents genuine market recognition of our expertise. Our firm reinforced its Economic Law department in 2016, with the arrival of Olivier Leroy as partner for advisory and disputes, alongside Laurent Romano, also a partner. The department now has two partners and six associates.
These six awards recognise our expertise and demonstrate the benefits of our firm’s multidisciplinary approach. Each of our teams of experts works in perfect synergy to offer solutions with high added value.
