CMS Francis Lefebvre advises Bechtle on the proposed acquisition of Apixit Group
CMS Francis Lefebvre advised Bechtle, a company listed on the MDAX and TecDAX with over 14,000 employees worldwide, on its planned acquisition of the Apixit group, a specialist in the cybersecurity and operational security sector. Apixit employs around 340 people at a total of 9 sites, and generated sales of 85 million euros in fiscal year 2021/22. The conclusion of the sale agreement will be preceded by the consultation of Apixit’s employee representatives, and completion of the sale will be subject to the usual authorization conditions.
With this acquisition, Bechtle could consolidate its position among the top five IT companies in France, Europe’s third largest IT market after the UK and Germany.
